RF Face Lift VIORA REACTION

RF face lift VIORA www.NewFaaceMiami.com

What is the RF (Radio Frequency) face lift and how does it work?

Radio frequency is the latest technology to tackle face and body areas in need of rejuvenation.

Aesthetica's RF FaceLifter treatment uses unipolar and bipolar radio frequency modalities to heat subcutaneous dermal tissue using a hand piece emitting RF waves. This causes the contraction of the existing collagen fibers, encourages fibroblast migration and promotes new collagen growth that helps to tighten and improve the outer architecture of the skin.

You'll see the lifting effect and feel how your skin becomes tighter, smoother, and more elastic.

There is no down time (apart from the treatment time itself) and minimal discomfort. It is a walk-in walk-out procedure which takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

Please watch the video and see how Viora works

What can a course of RF Face Lift treatments do for me?

The goal of the radio frequency face lift is to restore a more youthful look by helping to reverse the signs of ageing and gravity. The treatment achieves:

· The tightening and smoothing of skin resulting in a reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

· The tightening of sagging skin around the jowls and neck.

· A reduction in the appearance of double chins.

· Improvement of skin laxity.

· A noticeable improvement in skin tone.

Is this treatment right for me?

Every woman or man who would like their face to look younger or smoother without surgery is a candidate for this treatment. A person of practically any age can receive the treatment. Some clients have obvious ageing from mid 30s others do better with deeper lines and laxity not evident till the fifties. There is an advantage to starting a little younger (the forties) and planning an annual budget for maintenance.

What happens during this treatment?

Before the treatment starts the treatment area is lightly coated in oil to make the treatment more comfortable and to increase the hand pieces surface contact with the skin.

There is little discomfort during or after RF Face Lift treatment. There is a definite feeling of warmth in the skin at the area being treated. The hand piece used in treatment has it's own cooling module to help keep the treatment comfortable and the operator can cool the skin immediately when required.

How many treatments are required and how long are they?

We recommend a course of anywhere between 6 to 12 treatments (depending on the areas treated and your skins reaction to the treatment) for the most beneficial results. We also recommend a maintenance treatment approximately every 6 months after your initial treatment course to maintain the results.

How long before I see the results of the treatment?

Many clients have reported changes early in their course after 2 or even 1 radio frequency treatments but it is usual to have 4-6 fortnightly treatments before the results start to manifest. Anywhere between 6 to 12 treatments can be required to achieve the best results.

Viora Reaction Applications

Medical aesthetic professionals worldwide have chosen the Reaction™ system for its superior performance, life-changing results and for the business philosophy that stands behind the technology.

Offer the world's leading body contouring & skin tightening treatments, all in one comprehensive medical aesthetic system:

•Cellulite treatment.
•Circumferential reduction (including post birth & liposuction surgery).
•Skin-tightening for aging & lax skin on the face and body.
•Skin tightening treatment for appearance of stretch marks.
•Face & Body Contouring

Reaction™ offers maximum treatment control and the consistent penetration of heat using CORE™ technology which incorporates multi-channel RF with vacuum therapy to initiate three different processes: deep tissue heating, mechanical stretch and mechanical massage.

Each of CORE™'s four treatment modes applies a specific frequency that targets different tissue depths, from superficial layers of the skin to the hypodermis. The application of RF energy to the dermis and subcutaneous layers deploys heat to underlying tissues to:

•Increase diffusivity of oxygen released by blood cells and increase cell metabolism.

•Break down rigid collagen cross links, increase skin elasticity and improve skin texture.

RF Face lift

The increased temperature to the treatment area facilitates the breakdown of stored energy (triglycerides) in the fat cell and when released, they result in the shrinkage of the fat cell volume. Along with the benefits of an effective cellulite treatment, the deep heating of subcutaneous tissue initiates a mechanical stretch in the skin caused by electrical pulses released from the RF electrodes. This action enhances gene expression and stimulates fibroblasts to enhance collagen secretion and improves the elasticity of the septae, resulting in a significant skin tightening effect!

Finally, the addition of mechanical vacuum therapy further intensifies the treatment by facilitating deeper penetration of heat to sub-dermal tissue as well as increases local blood circulation, promotes lymphatic drainage and lipolysis. The result is a minimized appearance of lumpy skin, improved skin texture and a reduction in circumference.

The selection of a specific RF mode according to the treated body site and the customization of RF and vacuum intensity levels ensure the most accurate treatment every time.

Skin Tightening

Fibroblasts are the major cells in the dermis which produce collagen and elastin fibers. The thickness of the dermis varies from person to person and is affected by age, exposure to sun, cigarette smoke and environmental pollution among other factors. With time, cross links are formed between the collagen strands rendering the fiber less and less elastic. This process leads to the first visible signs of aging on the face including uneven skin tone and texture, wrinkles and folds around the eyes and mouth, and stretch marks on various areas of the body.

INTRACEUTICALS: GET YOUR SKIN READY FOR FASHION WEEK

by William S. Gooch

Thursday, 04 February 2010 10:50

Put on a clear and happy face

Okay, New York Fashion Week and red carpet season is upon us. You've spent time in the gym, you've pulled together outfits that wow and pop, you've got the right accessories, and your coif is to die for. You think you've got it all together, and you probably do. But in the rush to have a complete look, did you think about the condition of the biggest organ in your body, your skin?

When your photo is snapped on the red carpet, or when the paparazzi spots you darting from the tents at Bryant Park to a funky downtown show, one of the things that tongues will wag the most about is whether your skin possesses the freshness and luster of other hot celebs or fashionistas. A well-styled Armani suit or delicious Louboutins won't save you from haters in the blogosphere if your visage lacks vibrancy. The challenge is how to look bright-eyed and bushy tailed when your favorite designers have scheduled collections back to back, or award shows are scheduled within days of each other. And it's even harder if you are strutting on the catwalk three to four times a day.

Intraceuticals, an innovative oxygenation skin rejuvenation system, may be just the solution to your facial woes. Using a combination of hyperbaric pressure, and hyaluronic acid - a muscle, skin and skeletal lubricating acid naturally made in the body - Intraceuticals claims to minimize fine lines, hydrate skin at the deepest level, and revitalize the skin. I must admit I was a bit skeptical at first, since so many products claim to deliver the fountain of youth. But after having just one treatment, I can bear witness that the claims are true. And what is great about this product is that results exponentially increase after the first rejuvenation treatment.

If my testimony still hasn't convinced you, just peruse the list of celebrity devotees. Madonna gets treatments regularly, and has an Intraceutical machine in each home. Eva Longoria, Paula Patton, Justin Timberlake, and John Galliano are proponents of the products. And Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 have provided rejuvenation treatments for models in their runway shows. Skincare Practitioner Michelle Peck confides, "I have done models for New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks and the results are instant, the skin is plumped and glowing almost immediately … The oxygen alone is wonderful for your skin, and pair that with the hyaluronic compound, and you have a treatment that will give you the refreshed look needed so that you pop on the red carpet or on the catwalk every time."

And for those dealing with blemish and pigmentation challenges, Intraceuticals has launched two new products: Clarity and Opulence. The Clarity treatment uses the hyperbaric delivery system to rid the skin of impurities, leaving a healthy environment that promotes balance and optimum skin repair. The Clarity Wand enables you to look good anywhere, anytime. You can promptly target specific blemishes with this unique concentrated formula. And Opulence helps balance skin pigmentation without the damaging effects of more traditional bleaching creams.

Get your game face on - Some A-lister celebs turning to Intraceuticals facials

"I love, love, love them," gushes Gemini-nominated actor Kristin Booth ((Flashpoint).

Booth is referring to Intraceuticals Oxygen treatments, skin-rejuvenating facials that more and more A-listers depend on to get ready for close-ups. (Booth did a series of them in the weeks leading up to TIFF).

Unlike other facials, Intraceuticals aren't about exfoliation, extractions or goopy layers of cream. And although they make use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy - using oxygen at a higher level of pressure than normal - they're not exactly about oxygen, either.

"The Intraceuticals facial uses a cooling, forced stream of oxygen via a treatment wand to push a hyaluronic-acid serum from the epidermis (the skin's surface) to the dermis underneath," explains Dr. Sandy Skotnicki-Grant, medical director of the Bay Dermatology Centre where Booth goes for her appointments.

Hyaluronic acid, a molecule the skin also makes, can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water. "It hydrates the skin, immediately firms and plumps it up to smooth out fine lines, and gives the complexion a nice glow."

Eva Longoria, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristen Davis have enjoyed treatments. Justin Timberlake is quoted on the Intraceuticals website (intraceuticals.com) as saying they make his skin "look dope," and Madonna is reportedly such a fan that she owns at least one Intraceuticals machine. The 40-minute treatment is "great for women in their late 30s, 40s and older," comments Skotnicki-Grant. "Maybe they travel all the time, smoke a little or party a lot. This makes their skin look refreshed and glowy." Effects are cumulative, so the recommendation is a series of appointments although results are evident after the first. Skotnicki-Grant says the benefits are actually more noticeable around day two or three, and can last up to three weeks.

MICROCURRENT

Microcurrent face treatement

A microcurrent facelift is a non-surgical, non-invasive cosmetic technique that safely and effectively improves the health and appearance of the skin. A microcurrent facelift is also called a Bio-ultimate facelift. A microcurrent facelift uses technologies developed in the medical and physiotherapy fields to activate the skin's natural chemicals responsible for health and vitality. A microcurrent facelift provides satisfying aesthetic results with less risk of side effects compared to a traditional facelift. The microcurrent facelift procedure is proven safe and effective, delivering results at a fraction of the cost of traditional procedures.

A microcurrent facelift delivers a variety of benefits to patients who wish to attain a healthier and younger looking appearance. A microcurrent facelift can be performed to achieve the following benefits: improve muscle tone in face and neck, lift jowls and eyebrows, reduce and eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, improve facial circulation, skin exfoliation, lymphatic drainage, sun damage treatment, skin pigment improvement, product penetration, and much more.

A microcurrent facelift utilizes microcurrent technology which uses gentle electrical stimulation to trigger the body's natural skin enhancement chemicals at a cellular level. Clinical studies have shown that after twenty days of treatment collagen production increases by 14 percent, elastin increases by 48 percent, and blood circulation increases by 38 percent. Scientists have also found that microcurrent facelift treatments trigger the body's production of amino acids and ATP. Both of these accelerate cell repair and promote healthier cell production.

The best candidate for a microcurrent facelift is any patient who wishes to maintain or gain a youthful appearance. Younger clients can seek a microcurrent facelift to prevent some of the aesthetic effects of aging. Older clients can be rejuvenated by having a microcurrent facelift. Men and women, who are interested in having a microcurrent facelift, should speak to their cosmetic surgery specialist about what to expect before, during, and after the treatment. This information will help you develop realistic expectations about your microcurrent facelift so that you may enjoy the results of this procedure's many benefits.

The microcurrent facelift procedure itself takes approximately one hour to complete and is virtually painless. A microcurrent facelift specialist will use a two pronged cotton tipped instrument to gently deliver electrical stimulation to the muscles and tissues of the face and/or neck. The microcurrent facelift procedure requires no anesthesia, no recovery time, no down time from work, and has no irritating side effects. To achieve the ultimate benefits of a microcurrent facelift, approximately twelve treatment sessions are recommended.

Routine follow up treatments are performed to maintain microcurrent facelift results. Though cost can vary based on a number of factors the average cost of a microcurrent facelift treatment is just under one hundred dollars. To learn more about microcurrent facelift procedures, please contact us to speak with a qualified cosmetic surgeon in your area.

Microcurrent facial

One modality that seems to be at the forefront of this balance is microcurrent. Microcurrent is a low level of electrical current used to improve the appearance of skin and the contour of the face and body. With this in mind, it meets the scope of nearly every state regulating board's definition of esthetics.

True microcurrent works at less than 400 microamperes of electrical current and has no relation to electrical muscle stimulation that causes a visual or physical manipulation of the muscle via the electrical current. Microcurrent works in harmony with the body’s own natural electrical system and, in a nutshell, accelerates the body’s ability to function much more effectively and expeditiously. The wellness applications and possibilities of microcurrent seem endless and truly are amazing, ranging from wound healing to macular degeneration.

During a typical microcurrent esthetic treatment, the esthetician performs a series of manipulations to achieve what sometimes is referred to as muscle re-education, or lengthening and shortening, which is responsible for the contouring or lifting portion of the treatment. Results usually can be seen after the first application.

The second portion of the treatment is focused on skin, improving blood circulation, product penetration, and increasing the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin, the most integral two components of supple, firm, youthful skin.

Recent studies at the University of Washington indicate that skin treated with microcurrent showed a 14-percent increase of natural collagen production, a 48-percent increase in elastin and a 39-percent increase of blood circulation—all inside of a 20-day time period. The retonification of facial muscles using microcurrent results from accelerated ATP [adenosine triphosphate] generation along with increased production of collagen and elastin,” says Dr. Robert Loss of Dermatology Associates of Rochester (N.Y.). “Unlike Thermage, the results are very immediate, the process completely safe and painless, and the cost for the consumer very low comparatively.”

Microcurrent: The Wave of the Future
by David Szuki, President,
Bio-Therapeutics

Microcurrent technology has been at the forefront of the battle against aging for several decades. Since its inception in the early 70's, through today's progressive developments, celebrities and common people alike have touted microcurrent treatments as the true "fountain of youth". With a well documented origin in medical use and seemingly endless esthetic benefits, including acne healing and muscle toning, this industry staple has evolved into something of a pop culture icon with recent exposure on some of televisions most popular programs, such as Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, Oprah and the Stylist.

The science behind microcurrent
Recent studies at the University of Washington indicate that a series of microcurrent treatments can not only sculpt and contour the muscles of your face, but also increase natural collagen production by 14%, natural elastin production by a whopping 48%, and increase blood circulation by 38%.
